Risk Management 101

Before edge, before entries, before setups — comes risk. Every funded trader we have paid out shares one habit: they size positions in fractions of a percent, not in feelings.

The 1% rule

Risk no more than 1% of the account per idea. On a $100K account that is $1,000 of open risk. Cap total open risk across correlated pairs at 2%.

Daily kill-switch

Hit -2% intraday? Close the platform. The rule is not about the loss — it is about the mental state that produced it.
